Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts invites applications to its Artist-In-Residence Lab Programme starting August 2022.

The Artist-In-Residence lab puts forth a research-based practice model and functions as an incubator from where new ideas are tested. It is designed to nurture creativity, research and experimentation.

The programme offers a space for artists and cultural operators to critically examine existing practices through exchange and dialogue & encourages new connections among practitioners across disciplines.

This residential programme is open to those working at the intersection of art, science, technology, and sustainability across different media.

Artists and creatives are invited to submit proposals that address new approaches related to our contemporary context and to develop concepts dedicated to the interaction of the local social, cultural and economic morphology & contemporary art practices.

The residency project will be facilitated by a mentor and will culminate in the form of a visual archive. Upon completion, the artist will be required to submit a project report along with appropriate documentation, and engage in public discussions and presentations about their work. The duration of the residency will be eight weeks.
