• Celebrating World Theatre Day | 3 & 4 April 2022

Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts in association with Abhivyaktee – Panaji invite you to celebrate World Theatre Day 2022 with a special production Godhuli (an endless Dusk) staged over two days – Sunday, 3rd April 2022 and Monday, 4th April 2022, 7.00 pm onwards.
Godhuli presents an interaction between the present day life experience of women. It is a tale of two women, Urmila from Ramayana and Hypatia of Alexandria, on a voyage of self-exploration. One of them is suppressed, bound and trepid, while the other is aware, learned and daring. The play unfolds when both set out to do ‘the impossible’, when one tries to resemble the other, where boundaries are crossed and lessons are learnt.
This lyrical dramatic performance encourages a reflection on the value of individual knowledge, creativity and capability.
    Concept and Dramaturgy: Rajkumar Rajak
    Design and Direction: Dr. Chandradasan
This production is part of our ongoing exhibition BOUNDARiES in association with Goa Open Arts, that explores the visible and invisible markers of separation in time and space.
    Dates: 3rd & 4th April 2022, 7.00 pm onwards.
