Ingmar Bergmans's `Persona’ is a masterpiece by one of the greatest directors of all times. Bergman himself considers it to be one of the most important films he has made -"... I touched wordless secrets that only the cinema can discover" is what he had to say. The story is about two women, a young nurse (Bibi Anderson) who has been put in charge of a famous stage actress who has become a recluse and doesn't talk. The film is basically about their interactions and personalities and the visuals speak so much more than the words.
