One of the most talented directors in world cinema today, `The Edge of Heaven’ is one of Fatih Akin's most acclaimed films. The main protagonist is a young professor who is in search of his father's mistresses’ daughter and he wants to do something good for her. His quest is filled with ups and downs and it turns out to be quite a journey. Fatih Akin won the Best Screenplay award at Cannes in 2008 and the film has won 25 odd awards around the world.
