Sunaparanta is pleased to invite you for the screening of "under my skin… under your skin”, a selection of Baptist Coelho’s video works (2006 to 2011) curated by Lina Vincent Sunish on Saturday, 19th September 2015 from 5:00 pm onwards. The screening will be followed by an artist talk and discussion, moderated by Lina Vincent Sunish, art historian and curator, based in Goa.
“under my skin… under your skin” One cannot interpret Baptist Coelho’s work from the surface: it is born, and thrives in the complexities under the apparent façade and probes to what is underneath. The compilation “under my skin… under your skin” attempts to string together conceptual underpinnings that recur in his work, particularly between 2006 -2011.
