About the film:
Set in the 16th Century, the film follows the journey of Don Lope de Aguirre as he sets out in search of El Dorado. Ruthless and obsessed, Aguirre will not accept any sign of weakness from those around him. As the journey moves forward, lives of people on board are at an increasing risk but Aguirre refuses to give in.
One of Herzog's best films, 'Aguirre, the Wrath of God' is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time.
