Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts is delighted to announce Acrylic Sundays with contemporary artist Chaitali Morajkar from 14 March 2021. Designed for beginners, the course invites you to unleash your creativity as you learn the foundations of working with this vibrant medium.
 
Over 5 consecutive Sundays, we will observe & use various techniques that include: Brush Work, Colour Theory & Colour Mixing, Colour Application, Introduction to Tones, Understanding Light, Observational Drawings.

As part of this programme, participants will create three acrylic paintings on canvas. This series is developed as part of Creative Cloud: Connecting Art to Life, an innovation lab designed to activate the unlimited potential & resource of the human imagination through live, interactive and animated sessions facilitated by experienced faculty from the industry.

Dates: March 14, 21, 28 and April  11 & 18  (no class on Easter Sunday i.e. April 4)

Chaitali Morajkar received her MFA in painting from University of Hyderabad. As a visual artist working in watercolour and acrylic, Chaitali highlights issues relating to gender, identity, relationships, with women being central to her work. She has been teaching art over the past 19 years and is one of the art teachers at Sunaparanta since 2012.
